Number one in sound and playability!
Graduated Scale Baritone
When Mike Miltimore met Don Alder for the first time, he was in awe of Don’s unique playing style, meanwhile Don was in awe of the Riversong Guitar technology. Together, after months of talks and plans, The GS Baritone was born. Sound and playability was of course number 1 closely followed by comfort. The body has two comfort cuts, one for the arm and one for the ribs. These body cuts make the dreadnaught body shape feel much smaller while maintaining a lot of tone. The neck is very high tech using an adjustable neck angle, carbon Fibre Rods, and a dual expanding truss rod.

Don Alder stopped by the Acoustic Guitar booth at NAMM 2016 to perform a song on his signature Riversong baritone.
Watch the fingerstyle guitarist play “Armed and Dangerous,” which is also the title of his new album.
The Graduated Scale (GS) Series
Balancing tension and tone has always been an issue for conventional guitars. Bass strings require higher tension while treble strings need less. Similar to a grand piano where all strings are different lengths, our GS Series delivers that fine balance between tone and tension. With fanned frets the ergonomics of these amazing looking instruments leave one to question: “Why aren’t all guitars made like this?”
