Graduated Long Scale Bass

From the mind of Lee Manson, Production Manager at Riversong Guitars, when given a choice of next project it was easy for Lee: as a bass player he wanted to make the ultimate acoustic bass. Graduated Scale fan frets, Chillakwian Maple back and sides, Sitka Spruce top, walnut fretboard and bridge, dual carbon fibre rods make this an extremely well balanced, big, warm-sounding bass. Finish is a multi-colour metallic over a traditional burst by Masayuki Toyoshima, master finisher. The Graduated Long Scale Bass is unparalleled.

The Graduated Scale (GS) Series

Balancing tension and tone has always been an issue for conventional guitars. Bass strings require higher tension while treble strings need less. Similar to a grand piano where all strings are different lengths, our GS Series delivers that fine balance between tone and tension. With fanned frets the ergonomics of these amazing looking instruments leave one to question: “Why aren’t all guitars made like this?”
